LG
LG (Formerly Lucky-Goldstar and previous to that Goldstar) is a South Korean conglomerate that manufactures various electronic and petrochemical products. LG is well known for their home appliances and with their various marketing campaigns (especially LG - Life is Good) in the 90s through to this day have gained worldwide recognition as a respectable brand name. Recently LG have made a push to get rid of their image of producers of non-stylish, low-quality phones. LG launched the LG Shine and the LG Prada during the course of 2006-2007 which won LG the design team of the year award by the Red Dot Design Award and the iF Design Award. LG is now known as the new Apple and the new Sony in online communities as a testament to their design and style creativity. LG also launched the LG Viewty (KU990) in 2007 and reportedly (according to many news sites and blogs) outsold the iPhone in the first five weeks. LG has many popular phones under its belt but amongst its most popular phones and PDAs are: LG VX5400 CDMA, LG VX8350, LG VX8550 Blue Mint Chocolate, LG VENUS VX8800 in Pink, LG VX9400, LG ENv VX9900, LG Voyager VX10000, LG Shine, LG CU515, LG CE110 and of course the LG Prada and LG Viewty. Accessories for these LG phones and more are available at PDAaccessories.com.
